Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

The Pastor’s vision for the church is for us to be abundantly and increasingly loving and serving the Lord Jesus Christ by giving (1) glory to God, (2) gospel to the broken-hearted, and (3) goodness to all men.

Glory to God – This primarily involves worship, and includes:

• Fervent and frequent prayer
• Heartfelt singing, joyous or mournful, but taken seriously
• Reverence for God’s word
• Asking for God’s presence
• Waiting for the Lord’s return

Gospel to the brokenhearted – This primarily involves witness, teaching and outreach, and includes:

• Preaching Jesus Christ, and Him crucified
• Our welcome to visitors
• Our invitation for folks to visit
• Our identification with the Lord as disciples in our daily lives
• Materials or information we might distribute
• Contributing to the spread of the gospel
• Sound counsel from the Bible

Goodness to all men (especially those who are of the household of faith) – This primarily involves work to help one another, and others

• Ministering to others in prayer
• Visiting the widows, fatherless, sick, and imprisoned
• Feeding, clothing, or otherwise helping those in need
• Providing a good, safe place for children to hear the truth in love
• Build friendships within the church
• Increasing fellowship with our sister churches
